Kodama Forest Garden is a contemplative place for meditation, earth-based practices and writing. Kodama is a Japanese word meaning tree spirit, and our relationship to trees is intricately woven into life-affirming practices. Kodama Forest Garden is a place where one can explore the concept of Dharma Without Walls, and Stillness Within Movement through the activities of TerraPsychology, Terra Quests, and Terra Practices. Our two main projects are the creation of a Garden of Forgiveness, a forest garden where people may come and contemplate forgiveness and healing, assisted by outdoor meditation areas and inspirational materials, and outdoor living areas for Terra practices that involve writing, play, dance and tactile connection with the earth.

Please contact us for more information about how the Kodama Forest Garden is progressing, and let us know if you would like to volunteer. For more information, email us: vogel dot laurel at gmail dot com. And be sure to visit and become a fan of our Kodama Forest Garden FACEBOOK page.

Grant your blessings, so that my mind may be one with the dharma.
Grant your blessings, so that dharma may progress along the path.
Grant your blessings, so that the path may clarify confusion.
Grant your blessings, so that confusion may dawn as wisdom.
